Air source heat pumps
Low-carbon heating, designed around your home.
HEATING WITH A DIFFERENT APPROACH
Turn outdoor energy into indoor comfort.
An air-to-water heat pump takes energy from the outside air and uses electricity to provide heating and hot water. A carefully designed system considers the property’s heat loss, radiator or underfloor heating requirements and hot-water use.
A design that suits your property
Assessment includes insulation, ventilation, heat emitters, cylinder space, outdoor unit position and electrical supply. Running costs depend on system design, electricity tariffs and how the heating is used.
£7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant
Eligible property owners in England and Wales can receive £7,500 towards a qualifying air-to-water heat pump installation. An MCS-certified installer applies on your behalf and deducts the grant from the installation cost. Eligibility and property suitability must be confirmed.
Some eligible off-gas-grid properties replacing oil or LPG heating may qualify for an additional £1,500 until 31 March 2027. See the current government criteria.

Consider your own funds or compare a loan from an independent bank or lender. Check the APR, term, monthly repayments and total amount repayable. Any credit is subject to the lender’s assessment. NU Apex Energy has not confirmed an installer finance partner.
